Founded in 1957 as Willowhaven Country Club, the Umstead Pines golf course has provided north Durham's foremost test of golf for over 65 years. The George Cobb design, nestled among towering pines, meandering creeks, and rolling hills is a fun and challenging design for players of all skill levels.

MGA/WGA

The MGA (Men's Golf Association) has, at present, 170 members. We have 9 tournaments annually. Tournaments are one day except for Club Championship, Member/Member, Member/Guest, and The Ryder Cup are 2 days. Low gross/low net winners for majority of tournaments. The WGA (Women's Golf Association) continues to grow with members and tournaments. We currently have 41 members.
